BUS DRIVER SHORTAGE

If you know of anyone who is interested in driving a bus, please put them in touch with our Director of Transportation by calling 780-826-6038.

THEATRE FIELD TRIP

Our grade 5 and 6 students will be walking to Grand Square Cinema on Friday, December 17.  Permission forms were sent home with students on Monday, November 22.  Payment MUST be made on School Cash.  If you need another form please email clms@nlsd.ab.ca.  

COLD LAKE SCHOOL RECONFIGURATION 

Cold Lake School Configuration is underway for students. CLMS, NHS and ASAA student representatives had their first Student Steering Committee Meeting at the Energy Centre on November 23. They spent the day exploring and building new and strong foundations for CLMS which will become grades 7-9 school in the 2023-2024 school year.  The students had fun meeting new people and learned about how to work together for their educational journey. Special thank you to Mrs. Stromquist and Mrs. Garner for facilitating this Wonderful day.  Click the link to check out a couple pics

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER

All students go outside for recess and need to dress for the weather.                                                  Please be aware that students are asked to remove their footwear when they arrive in the morning and when they come back in from recesses.  Teachers have boot trays that students can put their outdoor footwear on for the day.  Students can bring a pair of shoes from home to wear as their indoor shoes.

School Cash Online

Please go to https://nlsd.schoolcashonline.com to pay for various fees and to order hot lunch, or to purchase concession cards/milk cards.  There are various snacks and chocolate milk available in the concession for purchase.  Hot lunches are Tuesday - Friday and must be pre-ordered by Sunday of each week on School Cash ONLY. There will be no purchase of hot lunches on the day of.

Please use the most up-to-date Daily Checklist before sending your child to school. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call the school. 
Our school has always been committed to keeping students, staff, and families safe.

  • We have increased sanitization in our school, especially in high touch areas
  • All staff and students in grades 5-12 are required to wear masks in common areas
  • Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances and in all classrooms
  • Staff and students are encouraged to practice physical distancing at all times
  • Staff and students use the Covid-19 Daily Checklist before coming to school
