Cold Lake Junior High is an inspiring environment where students are proud to learn, fostering student potential through academic responsibility, critical thinking and moral citizenship. Our goal is to educate the students and foster responsible and ethical citizens for the future.  In order for that to occur we need to be a collaborative team that trusts one another.  By becoming interdependent with staff, students, parents and administration, we can truly focus on improving instruction and student achievement. Student engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and trust are important steps in building a culture of care and learning.  We are a school that talks about all aspects of teaching, not just because we have to, but because we are excited about teaching and learning.  This is what we do. As we go forward, let’s take risks, make mistakes and try something new (TSN).  It’s only by stepping out of our comfort zone to try new strategies that we can find out how great we might be.
