VOLLEYBALL...
Volleyball season is quickly approaching. We will be hosting 2 days of tryouts for our 7/8 girls team, 7/8 boys and JV boys (grade 9). There will be an A & B team for both of our 7/8 teams and just one team for our JV boys.7/8 & JV boys tryout dates: Friday September 16th & Friday September 23.7/8 girls tryout dates: Wednesday September 21st & Thursday September 22nd. Tryouts will run from 3:30-5 p.m. Grade 6 triple ball tryouts will be announced at a later date.
MOUNTAIN BIKE ATHLETES...
Quick update: The race will take place on September 22 at the Cold Lake mountain bike park (by the museum, behind staples). Spectators are welcome, but the road will be closed off. You will have to park your vehicle at the bottom of the hill and walk up to spectate. Athletes are required to bring their bike, helmet and lunch to school on the morning of the 22nd. We will bike to the race and back from the race. We will travel about 20km total for the day so students need to be prepared for this. Monday September 19th is the registration deadline, all permission forms and practice passed in to Mr. Webb by the morning of the 19th, no exceptions. DONATIONS...
Students in grade 7/8/9 will be making Sock Monkeys in Home Ec. over the next couple of weeks, if anyone has sewing needles, thread, shears, or buttons that they are willing to donate to use, please send them with your student to school. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

There are various snacks and chocolate milk available in the concession for purchase. Hot lunches are Tuesday - Friday and must be pre-ordered by Sunday of each week on School Cash ONLY. There will be no purchase of hot lunches on the day of.
